So after watching Katy Perry's "California Gurls" video... I was surprised to find that it was directed by Matthew Cullen... a pure artistic genius. He has an unbelievable vision that is unreplicable. I'm simply in awe at his work. He created the HP commercials (you know... the Pharrell, Fergie, etc. w/ only hand motions expressing all they can do on an HP) along with Buick's Olympics commercial, Pork and Beans- Weezer, and Beck's "Girl". Cullen's redefining visual effects and filmmaking is unreal. Nonetheless, if I had any artistic ability passed down from my mother... I would hope I could use it to create Cullen-type masterpieces.
